In that moment she had to make a decision, to die as well, or to live and create a legacy she would be proud of.  Chontell, made the choice to sparkle. The essence of Sparkle Nation, LLC. can be embodied in her personal quote. “You SPARKLE your brightest, in the face of adversity, when you choose to shine in the dark, your light becomes contagious.”

Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease that gets little recognition. It can affect any organ in the body, but it’s most prevalent in the lungs. projects for the community, and provide needed materials for the girls that are

enrolled.  Partial proceeds will be donated to the Sarcoidosis Foundation of South

Carolina. The Miss Pure Sparkle Pageant was founded in April in honor of

Sarcoidosis Awareness Month. Chontell Lucas, the CEO of Sparkle Nation, LLC.

cared for her mother as she suffered with Sarcoidosis. Chontell’s mother passed

away in 2012 leaving a legacy of promise and perseverance to sound the alarm on

this silent disease. The Miss Pure Sparkle Pageant is an evening that reflects on

the lives that has suffered and survived Sarcoidosis. This pageant also honors the

accomplishments of the dedicated and committed volunteers, board members,

staff, and community partners who helped Sarcoidosis Survivors throughout the

state of South Carolina. This event also takes the time to honor children in the community as National Ambassadors. These young ladies often suffer from low self-esteem,  severe bullying, or life altering circumstances. We  also offer scholarships for the young ladies in our

community that participate. Participating in this pageant insures that everyone is

a winner. We take pride in making everyone’s sparkling dreams come true.
